At halloween, food colouring is your best friend. Anything can be made to look spooky - biscuits in the shape of bats, chocolate cake with legs (spiders!) or eyeball cupcakes. How about making a jelly with "body part sweets" in it? And for savory food, you can make finger sausage rolls, and pumpkin soup.

Games
Musical Statues - but when the music stops, you have to strike a scary pose.

Big art attack! Remember that TV programme art attack, and they always made a massive picture at the end? Find lots of materials and various bits and pieces and get everyone to make a big scary picture.

Wink murder, apple bobbing, ghost stories, the operation game. Even board games can be made spooky - just make halloween themed counters to play with!

For the adults how about a Murder Mystery Game, or sit down and watch a Halloween movie.
